“I wrote this song after hearing the Story in it’s entirety. Out of the whole story, this idea captivated me the most: the idea being the truth that God remains the same throughout our inconsistencies. No matter what Israel had done, God kept his promises to His people, and I am convinced that God’s character still remains the same to this day. You stay God, though I stay man.”
